Proclamation Requests

Proclamation request must be submitted 60 days in advance of suggested recognition date to allow time for Commissioner Court approval. 

To ensure timely consideration, please include:

  • Date, week or month of recognition.
  • Suggested date for reading in Commissioners Court. See calendar.
  • A detailed explanation of the proclamation significance.
  • Relevant facts and background support the impact to Guadalupe County residents.
  • Suggested verbiage for the proclamations.

All request should be submitted to Public Information Officer.
