Guadalupe County provides meeting rooms for Veterans, non-profits, and community organizations to utilize for educational and informational purposes. 

There are two large rooms available: one at the Veterans Outreach Center and another at the Justice Center, both located in Seguin, TX. Additionally, a small room is available at the Schertz satellite building. Audio-visual equipment can be accessed at the Veterans Outreach Center, subject to availability.

Before requesting a room reservation, please review the requirements outlined in the Room Reservation Policy. A security deposit is required to cover any potential damages; this fee will be refunded if no damage is reported.

Public Information Request and Procedures

Before submitting your public information request, it is important to determine the appropriate elected official or county department responsible for the information you need.

County departments and elected officials, including appointed members, are custodians of their records. Scroll down for a list of those offices and contact information.

Texas Public Information Act

The Texas Public Information Act (the "Public Information Act" or the "Act") gives the public the right to request access to government information.  The Act is triggered when a person submits a written request to a governmental body.  The request must ask for records or information already in existence.  The Act does not require a governmental body to create new information, to do legal research, or to answer questions.
