Found & Estray Animals

Guadalupe County Animal Control enforces state and local laws related to animals in the unincorporated areas of Guadalupe County. We handle stray or at-large dogs and loose or estranged livestock.

Please contact our office with any animal-related issues, and we will address them as necessary. We do not respond to calls about cats or at-large fowl, as there are currently no ordinances addressing these situations. We can set traps for nuisance dogs on a case-by-case basis if needed.

Additionally, we have Animal Cruelty Investigators who can look into any issues involving animal cruelty. You can reach us by contacting the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office at 830-379-1224 OPT.1 . If we are not in the office when you call, the Sheriff’s Office can reach us on the radio or take a message for us to get back to you as soon as possible.
