Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
Tue, Wed, Thur., 9am-1pm
Their mission is to advise, instruct and counsel claimants and to provide assistance
to homeless veterans. Their chapter service officers are certified annually to
assist veterans in filing claims and other benefits for which they are
entitled.

Endeavors' Veteran Supportive
Services (VSS) rapidly re-houses and prevents homelessness among eligible
Veterans and their families. Our programs offer one-on-one case management
services, housing search assistance, and temporary assistance. For appointment call:
210-469-9664. Walk-ins are welcome.
Mental Health Options:
The
Ecumenical Center
Mondays and Wednesday's, 10am-6pm
Mental health counseling; faith based if desired for active military, veterans,
and local first responders, including families, spouses, and dependents.
Provide specialty counseling programs and offer a balance between physical,
spiritual, and emotional aspects of healing. In-person and virtual are available. No fee, no referral is needed.
