NEW PERMITTING PROCESS FOR MOBILE FOOD VENDORS

Beginning July 1, 2026 ALL mobile food vendor permits must be completed with the Texas Department of State Health Services. Click HERE to apply

 

Mobile food vendors conducting business within the unincorporated areas of Guadalupe County must have
a CURRENT State or local Fire Inspection within the last 12 months (1 year). Health and Safety Code Chapt. 437b

 

The Guadalupe County Fire Marshals Office will conduct Mobile Food Unit Fire Safety Inspections every Wednesday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Inspections must be scheduled online. Click here to schedule a MFU Inspection

Permit & Inspection Process Overview

(This applies to the unincorporated areas of Guadalupe County.)

The Guadalupe Commissioner’s Court has adopted the International Fire Code, 2024 edition (IFC),as the Guadalupe County Fire Code (CFC). The court also adopted amendments to the IFC. The amendments and court order adopting the CFC are available on-line for review. The fees associated with each of the permit types can be found in the “Schedule of Fees”, on-line.
